thankful

i very much appreciate the people in my life who fully understand my limitations. my physical therapist uses the example of a person with a broken leg. it needs to be in a cast for a length of time in order to heal. people don't question why the kid with the broken leg isn't running a marathon or taking his cast off to walk around for a while. same with me, only it's not my leg and i have no cast. i have a neck injury and have daily pain all throughout my face, head, back of head, neck, shoulders and upper back. sometimes even my arms, hands and fingertips. i have a long road to recovery and because i can't just cast myself up for a few months, i have to be very careful with what i do day to day to not "open the wound" and set myself back a few days or weeks. anyways, i'm just on a roll with complaining about my problems today. clearly i need to start my day with my Bible study and not with my own thoughts. i'm dangerous!

speaking of which, my Bible study seriously rocks. it's on friday nights and there are about 16 of us women that get together to encourage and read God's Word. it's a study by Kelly Minter and it's called no other gods. it's changing my life. i've been a lukewarm christian my whole life and i'm scared to death of that girl i was/am. Revelation 3:16 ESV "So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth." WOWZA.
