b's ba-mazing banana bread!

when i've got my baking socks on, you know i mean business. of course baking socks means socks that husband hates so i have to wear them when he's not home ;) 
and Cat is here waiting for the banana peels i drop at her. peculiar little creature. 

want to make the most amazing banana bread and be really popular and have people love you and want to give you gifts? follow this recipe:

2 cups all purpose flour (i use organic and wheat all purpose)
1 tsp baking soda 
1/4 tsp salt (also organic. if your salt is white, it's not salt. sorry to burst that bubble)
1 T. butter
3/4 cups brown sugar (okay i'm not proud of using this but i haven't found a substitute yet)
2 eggs, beaten 
5-7 bananas (yes, that many)
splash of cinnamon 
pinch of nutmeg 

in one bowl put flour, baking soda, salt. 
in separate bowl beat eggs then add brown sugar and butter. mix until it looks disgusting then add bananas. mash bananas then add mixture to flour. stir just until moist (hate that word). put into two greased 9x5 pans. sprinkle brown sugar on top. bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
