the one about yesterday and the birthday.

yesterday i wanted to badly to grab a model and photograph.
everyone was busy so husband and i decided to take some new headshots. i have crazy pink "peek-a-boos" so i'll of course want to take them again when i dye it back but i think the pink is fun.

yesterday. the weather was perfect i wanted to kiss the air.

i am in the very best of moods on these days.

this is my favorite spot in our little town. the green ivy and the grey wall are so lovely and the lighting is always so yummy no matter what time of day it is.

husband had fun making me laugh. i love how i'm the most me when i'm with him.
which is why these photos make me laugh so much.

plusalso, he's going to be a great photographer very soon, if we're not careful.

husband ordered a girly drink. i think that's why he didn't want me to take this.
or it could be that he thinks my taking these photos is totally dumb.
he's the dumb one.
pumpkin spice latte. husband. walking. gorgeous town. even more gorgeouser weather. i, am in heaven.

this, my friends is the most gorgeous library ever. really. are you looking?
my october 20th bride is a stellar gal who used to work here. we have many a fun photo planned for this very place. yum!

do you see what i mean about the clouds, people?
honestly.

i was so happy at the coldness last evening! favorite sweatshirt. favorite jeans. favorite husband. seriously happy about that alfredo boat and breadsticks from the olive garden. perfect night.
and now for the part about the birthday.
i had one.
it was friday.

i love the time around my birthday because it's around labor day and every year the family gets together. i always used to think it was just because of my birthday and everyone got that monday off of work - you're welcome.
but now that i'm experiencing birthdays as an adult, i really think the world has crazy brains about them.
i'm not a fan of the parties and the presents. it'll be interesting to see how our life will be when we have babies of our own and how we go about birthdays.

the image above is a really sweet gift from my sister. i think it's so cute even if it won't fit nearly enough food on it. ;) it's sitting on my desk looking adorable.

and below.. is the very sweetest card from my parents. last years card was really great, too. it's in our bedroom on the book shelf. this years though, wow. tear-city.
i cherish these words from them.
