this is where i share my whole soul. i write about my struggles. my joys. my amazing life with my handsome husband. our photography company. our cat. wedding seasons. our travels. community. beer and coffee dates. probably lots about pizza, too. i believe that life is worth living. and sharing my story connects me to beautiful souls. i feel like i grow into a better human when i write and read stories. we all have something amazing to share with the world. this is my life in pink.

our weekend

friday was ethan's birthday.
he doesn't like to make a big thing of birthdays but he knows i love to celebrate him.
so i put on one of his favorite dresses and put my hair up cute for him.
i never know how to do my hair. and it's in that in between long and medium/short so it just doesn't work well. so i youtubed how to do a side thing. i didn't do a great job but it was okay. cute enough.
he loved it.
i'm also trying to get used to the no make up thing again.
he really can't get enough of me without make up on.
it's kinda the sweetest thing ever but i'm a GIRL. we LIKE make up. we just DO.
so it's a challenge. but i'm wanting to really try again. i might have to force myself with another fast.
he thinks a 35 year fast from make up would be good. craycray.

anyways. i've been sickly so getting out of sweat pants and into an adorable dress was necessary.
i made baked fried chicken and we continued star wars.
we had a great night.  it was much fun.

the next morning i was up for sunrise.
it was weird being up that early but it was very enjoyable because the sun rises right by our bed.
God makes the best skies.

that afternoon we went to lunch with friends.
i love him here. so handsome.
he's made of great stuff.

that night was a wedding consultation for me.
i love pantyhose now.
ethan says i should wear dresses and tights more. that was cute.
the meeting went GREAT. super fun. and afterwords, i called e to tell him how it went.
he said to come see him on my way home. he was detailing. i couldn't resist.
it was a nasty rainy night but we laughed while he finished working.

on the drive home, we were in separate cars of course, me from my meeting and him from work, and i needed to stop by the store.
to my surprise e stopped with me and to the store together we went.

guys, my husband is just sweet. seriously and endlessly sweet.

it was rainy and COLD, he coulda just met me back at the house. but he stopped and waited for me, took my hand and shopped with me.
we got cookies and milk and went home to catch up on our shows.

that rainy drive home. i do like rain. but this was the cold nasty kind that seems almost mean.
it really made me so thankful for a warm, dry home.
i slept very thankfully that night.

this morning!
feeling better-ish so i'm excited to get back to work a wee bit today.
"rocking" the no make up look. and cray cray hair.
it's monday, people!
