the anniversary.

today is our three year wedding anniversary.
we love marriage. hard.

this is a silly little post from both of us.  :)

some things about our marriage :

we are surprised we still like each other so much.
although, not really that surprised.

we laugh at farts. and you should too.
there will be many, so you might as well laugh.

reading the Bible together is hot.
we sometimes forget how amazing it is to be in the Word together.
we are so stoked when we remember and read together.

we quote the same quotes from movies/shows we've been quoting our entire lives.
and still die from them.

he loves my style 80% of the way.
the rest he finds exceedingly laughable.
as in he laughs at my face when i show him some of the 20%

putting Christ first, each other second, and ourselves third.
that's the only way to go.

going to the grocery store counts as a date.

ethan gets even more handsome. every.single.day.
i don't know how he does it.
and taller, somehow. it's fantastic.

every single morning this guy smiles at me and calls me either beautiful, gorgeous or he yells GOSH YOU'RE PRETTY. YOU'RE SO PRETTY. and kisses all over my gross morning face.

probably my favorite thing about ethan's personality is his yelling.
he has no shame and will yell his feelings for me just about anywhere we are.
at any time and always without warning.

dancing together is another favorite.
we love to dance together.
i hope we always take time to dance.

naming our unborn children (and our not yet adopted children) is a hobby of ours.

car rides long distance = super vacation.

ethan loves our cat.
i love our cat.
he makes sure that i don't become a cat lady, though, which is probably for the best.
(like dressing our family up in ugly sweaters for a christmas photo is a no.)

being best friends is awesome.

Bible study is a new thing for us together and it's beautiful.
learning together. growing in our relationships with Christ together.

making each other laugh = our daily goal.
well, one of them.
that man enjoys laughing like no other.

opening and owning a photography business, running it and working it together is so.much.fun!

most importantly to us -
wife submitting to husband, and husband sacrificing for wife = functional marriage.
wanna add Christ to the equation? brace yourselves. it's difficult, but spectacular.
