counting my many blessings :: being sick stinks

remembering to be thankful is not always easy.
when you're super super sick and you hurt so badly it can be easy to feel really down.

but, wow, what i have to be thankful for!
so i thought tonight, to help me cleanse a bit, i'd write a few things i'm super thankful for.

ethan.
his heart. his tenderness. his never ending love for me.
the way he looks at me each morning.
the way he yells "GORGEOUS" when he answers my phone call.
i could go on.. but you're probably already puking a little. :)

my job.
what a blessing to have probably made my self sick from work!
i have worked myself too thin but what an amazing blessing that our business is taking off so quickly.
i was not expecting this so fast.
i do need to learn how to take better breaks.
and how to sleeeeeeep and not have nightmares about photos. ha!

we're almost out of debt!
what an amazing thing.. to have such a life that we have things to pay for.
we have jobs that pay the bills and pay for extra things.

i'm thankful for learning how to spend and save and give away our money.
many many nights talking with ethan about where we feel God is leading
us in how we should do those things.

a God who loves. and cares. and desires a relationship with me.

prayer.
i adore my prayer time.
i know i'm being heard and loved on as i spend time with my Father.

my sisters.
i had some amazing time recently with my two sisters that i love deeply.
they are just something else.
even just a few years ago i feared that i wouldn't have the strong relationship that they have together because they are closer in age and have been friends for years and years but i really feel that we are bonding in a way we never have before. now that we're all older and married it's just so fun to have them to share in life with. even though we live far away from each other.
and then there was a bat in the house.. another blog post for another day. oy vey.

girl friends.
i adore my girlfriends!
they mean to much to me and this past year has been incredible.
meeting and building relationships.
these women have been in my prayers for a long while now and i'm so thankful God gifted them to me! and what perfect timing, too.

a wonderful bed to sleep in each night with my sweet husband.
our marriage bed is just about my favorite thing ever.
i'm so thankful that we have such a nice place to lay our heads every night.
togetherness there.
we are truly blessed.

hot tea.
oh gosh, i love hot tea.
we just found a wonderful decaf tea that i can drink at night.
hallelujah!
